Upon your initial contact with DSA, we will evaluate your resume, or C.V., the completed personal history form and our conversations to see if you might be a candidate for one of the many searches that we are currently working.  If this is the case, we will call you to discuss the details of the position we are representing to see if you are interested in our introducing your background for evaluation by our client.   

If we do not have a current search in which you meet our client’s specifications, or conversely, if they are not offering what you have indicated to us are your personal search parameters, we will retain your information in our confidential files and continue to consider you as new searches are opened.  Again, when a “match” occurs, we will contact you to ascertain your continued availability and interest.

MAINTENANCE MANAGER: Responsible for preventative maintenance, project management and daily maintenance for food processing plants in Wisconsin, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Salary  to $90,000

QUALITY ASSURANCE MANAGER: Minimum 5 years QA experience required in a USDA regulated facility and have an understanding of labeling, exports, cook and uncooked processes. Experience with USDA, HAACP/SSOP/GMP is also required.  Must have strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage department and production workers. Also must have good verbal and writing skills, good math skills; strong organizational and time-management abilities; outgoing personality and the ability to work in team environment; ability to work under pressure.  Michigan

PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT FOODS ASSOCIATE: The individual selected for this position will be responsible for working with Foods Product Development Manager and Foods Merchandising to increase share growth in this retail supermarket’s private label products, as well as deliver products as good as or better than national brand.  This position is with a major mid-western based supermarket chain/

As a Product Development Foods Associate you will:

  • Add innovative new products.
  • Assist in the development of Fresh/Perishable Foods, including foods manufactured by the supermarket chains own manufacturing, and outside suppliers
  • Work on key deliverables in the Bakery/Deli Product Development and Innovation Pipeline, managing key portions of the projects to ensure a timely product launch
  • Collaborate with Product Development Manager to develop and maintain pricing for all raw materials needed to support the chain’s self-manufacturing interests
  • Assist in the determination of raw ingredients, and finished goods product specifications
  • Focus also on base improvements on existing fresh foods that will ultimately lead to increased market share in Perishables, Bakery and Deli

WAREHOUSE MANAGER: For bakery manufacturer in upstate New York/Lake Erie area.  Will oversee the day to day activities of department to ensure that product and ingredients are handled accurately and efficiently.  Will assist in maintaining regulatory, company, customer, HACCP, GMP and food safety requirements.

PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR: New Jersey opening for hands on culinary further processed facility that manufactures HRM for sale in supermarket meat departments and delis. Food plant experience mandatory.  Salary $45,000

MANUFACTURING ENGINEER: Provide engineering support to manufacturing operations to improve existing and new production processes. Will work with process and packaging efficiencies, Product yields, new product testing and launches and quality engineering.  Prefer mechanical engineering degree.  Salary $70,000 - Georgia location

MANUFACTURING MANAGER: Middle East location for a manufacturer and foodservice provider. Oversee entire processing operation to meet customer standards..  Will manage a multicultural workforce.

QUALITY CONTROL MANAGERS-   Positions in Pennsylvania, California, Michigan, and Maryland with the confectionary, fruit, wholesale bakeries and aseptic packaging firms.  Science degreed with 3+ years of experience.  Salaries to $80,000

PLANT MANAGER-   Privately owned growing bakery operation located in upstate New York which manufacturers a wide line of cookies.  Company is seeking a hands on floor oriented manager to direct the team.

TECHNICAL SERVICE/SALES REPRESENTATIVE-   Positions based in the Midwest and on the West coast for a sanitation analysis and supply company.  Seeking individuals wit experience in sanitation and use of chemicals for a position working within the food processing industry with client companies. Heavy travel.  Salary plus commissions.

SANITATION MANAGER-   This position will provide key leadership and training to sanitation employees during daily production line and facility sanitation as outlined by the Master Sanitation Schedule.  Work collaboratively with both Plant and Quality management and personnel to ensure timely execution of the sanitation function while ensuring uncompromised food safety compliance.  Provide needed support to Quality Assurance to maintain compliance with USDA requirements and guidelines. 

Must have clear understanding of HACCP, GMP, SSOP guidelines. Possess good working knowledge of microbiological testing and procedures. Must have excellent communication and leadership skills. Must possess basic computer skills and knowledge with an emphasis in Microsoft programs (Excel and Word).

PRODUCTION SUPERVISORS/SUPERINTENDENT:  Positions in Georgia, Oklahoma,  Massachusetts, Florida, Indiana, Arkansas, Wisconsin, Alabama, Pennsylvania, Illinois, Ohio, Texas,  and Tennessee for experienced food production supervisors. Salaries to $75,000

MAINTENANCE MANAGER - PROJECT ENGINEER:   Florida, New Jersey, North Carolina, California,  Tennessee, Georgia and Wisconsin positions for hands on style maintenance managers. Should have strong record of management of PM programs. Salary to $60,000
